Organized by the Arkitera Architecture Center, the Open Doors Architecture Festival is an event that opens historically and architecturally valuable buildings in Istanbul to the public, offering the opportunity to explore them. The festival provides an unparalleled experience for architecture and design enthusiasts, allowing participants to take guided tours of selected buildings. Istanbul’s hidden doors share their long-kept stories with visitors, giving participants a chance to get to know these unique structures more closely.

Do You Want to Say “We Are Also at the Festival”?
You can suggest venues when creating the festival program. Individuals, private sector entities, or public institutions wishing to host a building can contact Arkitera by July 22, 2024.
Do You Want to Be a Guide at the Festival?
Limited-capacity tours at the festival are accompanied by guides composed of students or graduates from university departments of architecture, urban and regional planning, interior architecture, or landscape architecture. If you want to participate as a guide, you can apply through Arkitera by August 19, 2024.
