The Open Door Architecture Festival, organized by Arkitera with the support of Unigen, takes place this year from October 14-21, 2025. In addition to concept routes spanning various districts of Istanbul, the festival program includes Izmir and Ankara for the first time. Participants will have the opportunity to delve into the cities' architectural heritage, with a selection ranging from historical buildings to contemporary examples. Each route features historical buildings, culturally significant venues, and prominent examples of contemporary architecture. Participants will not only closely examine structures etched in the city's memory but also gain new perspectives on urban life from past to present through excursions organized throughout the festival.
